What’s the most beautiful news you’ve ever received? Perhaps it was the long-awaited answer to a prayer, an unexpected blessing that took your breath away, or a moment that filled your heart with pure joy. When we hear good news, it stirs something within us—a deep desire to share it with others, right? We can’t keep it to ourselves.
As believers, we hold the greatest news the world will ever know: Jesus saves! He offers peace where there’s chaos, hope where there’s despair, and eternal life where there’s death. This is the news that changes everything. In this world, people everywhere are walking in darkness, searching for meaning, for purpose, for answers. What they need is the light of Christ to show them the way.
And that’s why Paul reminds us to have our feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:15). These aren’t ordinary shoes—they are shoes made for movement. Shoes that are ready to carry us forward, to take the gospel into every corner of the world.
